Arlington, TX,  January 28, 2014:    Brian DePalma, President & CEO of DePalma Hotel Corporation announced today the recent addition of three hotels to the DePalma portfolio.  “While we continue to maintain contracts around the United States, our core pipeline of managed properties continues to be in the south-central US as well as in the mid-Atlantic” said DePalma.

The award-winning Microtel, Harrisburg, PA is the first of a group of expected hotels from a new equity partner that is working with the DHC team.  Built in 2009, the Microtel has consistently been a TripAdvisor award-winning hotel since opening.  Located in the land of the Texas A&M  “Aggies”, the University Inn, College Station  will be undergoing repositioning as will the Super 8 Killeen while DePalma completes a comprehensive turn-around of the hotels.   The recent addition of the three properties added to the double-digit growth of contracts for DePalma in the trailing twelve months.

"With our significant contract growth in 2013 and new development pipeline taking shape it was critical to expand our management structure to accommodate continued success for the company", said DePalma, speaking of the promotion of Robert Lepore to Executive Vice President, Performance.  "Bob's 25+ year background in all phases of hospitality success makes him the perfect candidate to focus on the critical performance metrics for all of our propoerties throughout the portfolio."
