Bobby Sparks

Mr. Sparks supports the hotel portfolio sales and marketing efforts through

a consultative and hands-on approach that fosters revenue-focused team

members throughout the DePalma organization.  He leads the expansion

efforts for DePalma Hotels and Resorts through the acquisition of third-party

management agreements, negotiating partnerships, forging strategic alliances

and fostering industry relationships in true Texas hospitality fashion.

Mr. Sparks' extensive experience spans over a decade and all facets of the
hotel industry including Operations, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing and
Revenue Management for full-service, select-service and extended stay hotel
brands for Wyndham, Hyatt, Starwood and most recently, IHG, where he served
as the Director of Sales & Marketing for the last 6 years. In addition to
his direct sales role, he served as the trainer and SME on systems
support, social media, search engine optimization and hotel web content
while sustaining revenue and profit gains within a highly competitive
market.

Mr. Sparks is active in the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA-DFW)
and served as Chair of Visit Plano Hotel Marketing and on the board of
Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI-DFW). He
holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Management from the
University of Texas at Arlington.
