Andreas Müggler

Andreas Müggler serves as the Director of Operations for DePalma Hotels and Resorts. He is responsible for the day to day operational oversite and direction of our multi-branded portfolio, as well as new hotel openings and acquisitions including the critical path, negotiating agreements, building budgets and marketing plans, recruiting and hiring General Managers as well as key leadership positions. 

Mr. Müggler brings over three decades of extensive international hospitality management experience to DePalma Hotels and Resorts. He began his hospitality career in Switzerland with a chef apprenticeship and accumulated culinary experience in several upscale restaurants and hotels. He continued his endeavors with luxury, large full service hotels in Guayaquil, Ecuador and Puebla, Mexico as the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage under Swiss management. His hands on entrepreneurial management style was noticed and he was offered a position as the Director of Food and Beverage in Texas.

 

Over the course of the last twenty-five years he has worked as Director of Food and Beverage, Area Director of Food and Beverage, Director of Operations, Assistant General Manager and General Manager at several prominent hotel brands including Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, Intercontinental Hotel Group and Carlson.

 

Mr. Müggler graduated from the Hotel Management School HF in Thun, Switzerland with an MBA in Hotel and Restaurant Management and Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary Arts and is multilingual.
